Strategy

Having performed a number of key client-side roles in some of the more fundamental and significant industry developments of the last 20 years, we have enjoyed a rich set of experiences that have equipped us with invaluable insight and feel for industry change, and the art of taking commercial advantage.

The years working in Beacon for a wide variety of organisations have further sharpened the tools we can bring to bear on any given challenge.    

Input to core strategy for financial services organisations - and bodies involved in and around the industry - is probably where Beacon can add its biggest value. 

In fact there have been frequent instances where we have been hired to advise on say PR, only for our input to evolve to include a much more strategic element. This typically occurs where through our work with the client, we can see bigger or perhaps just different opportunities for the organisation.

Not surprisingly given our heritage and various specialisms, this strategic input often pivots on the industry dynamics we have worked with heavily before. This includes changing consumer behaviour and preferences, evolving Governmental reform and regulation, new models of distribution, and the increasing influence of markets and practices overseas.

Because we only work on a ‘charge for time spent’ basis, we can offer a very flexible approach to assisting with strategy development for your organisation. We don’t force you into a large project cost agreed upfront before the work starts.
